Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to charge a Škoda Enyaq or Elroq at home?

The cost of charging an Enyaq or Elroq depends on the time of day. The spot price changes every 15 minutes and the night-time network fee is lower than the daytime one. The calculator prices every 15 minutes of charging at the final price of that time and finds the cheapest continuous slot before the charging window ends.

Example: an Enyaq 85 (2023–2024) uses 6.8 kWh from the battery for a 40 km drive. With a 12% charging loss, charging takes 7.7 kWh from the meter and lasts 40 minutes on an 11 kW wallbox. Charging the battery from 20% to 80% takes 52 kWh from the meter, or almost five hours.

The first Enyaq iV 50 (2021–2023) and the Citigo e iV charge at only 7.2 kW from a wallbox, because their charger uses two phases. The same charge takes them one and a half times as long as the 11 kW Enyaqs and Elroqs.

There are 718 Škoda electric cars registered in Estonia (Transpordiamet, 01.09.2026). Battery and consumption data for the models come from EV Database.

What time is it cheapest to charge an Enyaq at home?

It depends on the day, because the spot price changes every 15 minutes. The calculator shows today’s and tomorrow’s cheapest time from the published prices. At night the Võrk 2 and Võrk 4 network packages have a lower network fee.

Is there a separate option for the Enyaq Coupé?

There is no need. The Coupé has the same battery and charger as the Enyaq with the same number. Its consumption is slightly lower, so choose the same variant.

How do I set the charging start time on a Škoda?

In the MyŠkoda app, set the charging start to the time shown by the calculator.

Does the price include the network fee?

Yes. The price is the final price: spot price, seller’s margin, network fee, electricity excise, renewable energy fee and VAT. You can choose your own package and contract in “My settings”.
