Where does the data come from?

Electricity prices. Nord Pool day-ahead prices for the Estonian bidding zone published by Elering. Tariif stores the prices in its own database and calculates the daily average, price ranges and suggested times of use from them.

Grid service prices. Elektrilevi price list. The calculation uses the selected grid package and the charges, excise duty and VAT rate valid on the date.

Algorithmic daily description. The description uses only the sources named here and indicators calculated by Tariif. If we add generation, consumption, weather or cross-border data, we also add the source, data time and reference here. A price change occurring together with a market situation is treated as a possible factor, not a proven cause.

The spot contract view is meant for a home on a spot plan. With a fixed price contract choose “Fixed plan” at the top of the page — it compares your contract's energy price with a spot contract. Appliance costs depend on their consumption; the full invoice also includes monthly fees.

All prices here are a calculated estimate based on your settings and the current price lists, not your bill. Your bill follows the exact prices of your contract and grid operator.
